Real transport challenges, practical ideas

Potholes and deteriorating assets. Rising road deaths. Heavier vehicles. New technologies. Growing pressure to do more with limited resources.

The issues facing transport are wide-ranging, but they have something in common: they need more than another description of the problem. They need evidence, fresh thinking and approaches that can be put to work.

The NTRO International Conference 2027 is inviting contributions that tackle those challenges through research, operational experience, policy and real-world innovation. The program will explore transport productivity, data and insights, system resilience, safety and risk, and innovations that are delivering results.

Across roads, rail, ports and airports, there's plenty we can learn from each other. The aim is to challenge what no longer works, share what does and find clearer pathways towards better transport outcomes.
