Great transport outcomes don't happen by accident. Behind them are people asking better questions, testing ideas and finding ways to turn research into results.
Nominations have opened for the 2027 National Transport Research Awards, recognising contributions that advance transport knowledge and make a practical difference to networks and communities. The awards provide an opportunity to celebrate established expertise, emerging talent and projects delivering meaningful outcomes.
The awards will form part of the NTRO International Conference 2027 program in Melbourne, with a gala event planned for Tuesday 25 May.
It's a chance to recognise the work already making an impact, while bringing the wider sector together to learn from it. Because solving tomorrow's transport challenges also means paying attention to the people and ideas making progress today.
